Professional, Certified Installation

HETAS Registered Installers

All stove installations and work affecting a chimney must comply with Part J of the Building Regulations.

As a HETAS registered competent person, Flaming Hot is authorised to self-certify installations. This means your stove installation is officially registered and fully compliant without you needing to contact your local council.

HETAS is the official regulatory body for solid fuel appliances, ensuring installations meet strict safety standards.

Using a HETAS registered installer gives you complete peace of mind that your stove has been installed safely, legally, and to the highest professional standards.

Chimney & Flue Installation

A safe and efficient stove installation relies on the correct flue system. We use high-quality materials and proven installation methods to ensure long-term reliability and performance.

Flexible Chimney Liners

Flexible Chimney Liners

Where an existing chimney is present, we install premium stainless steel flexible flue liners to improve safety, draft performance, and efficiency.

Our standard liner installation includes:

  • Fully clamped and supported flue liner

  • Steel support plate fitted beneath the chimney pot

  • Installation of a register plate to isolate the chimney cavity

  • Securely fixed flue joints to prevent separation during cleaning or expansion

Where possible, we maintain the existing chimney pot to preserve the external appearance of your home.

Twin Wall Flue Systems

Twin Wall Flue Systems

If your property does not have an existing chimney, we can install a twin wall insulated flue system.

Twin wall flue systems allow stoves to be installed safely in:

  • Modern homes

  • Extensions

  • Open plan living spaces

  • Garden rooms

  • Properties without traditional chimneys

These insulated systems provide safe ventilation while maintaining excellent heating efficiency.

Chimney Maintenance & Additional Services

Chimney Maintenance & Additional Services

In addition to stove installation, Flaming Hot also provides a full range of chimney services to ensure your system continues to operate safely.

Our services include:

  • Chimney sweeping

  • CCTV chimney inspections

  • Chimney and flue surveys

Home Survey & Consultation

We begin with a visit to your home to assess the installation area and discuss your requirements.

During this visit we will:

  • Measure the room and calculate the appropriate stove size

  • Assess the chimney or flue requirements

  • Discuss stove styles and design options

  • Review hearth options and fireplace alterations

  • Answer any questions about the installation process

Detailed Quotation

Following the survey, we will provide a full written quotation within five working days, outlining all recommended works and materials required for your installation.

Your quotation will clearly detail the proposed stove, flue system, hearth options, and any additional work discussed during the visit, such as fireplace alterations or chimney lining. We believe in being completely transparent, so everything is explained clearly with no hidden costs.

If you have any questions after receiving your quote, we’re always happy to talk through the details and help you choose the best option for your home.

Preparation & Protection

Once your quotation is accepted, we prepare carefully for installation.

We take great care to protect your home by:

  • Laying protective walkways

  • Covering floors and furniture

  • Using dust sheets and protective membranes

Our team works cleanly and respectfully throughout the installation.

Installation & Certification

Your stove installation is completed to the highest professional standards.

This includes:

  • Stove and flue installation

  • System safety checks and testing

  • Complete clean-up and waste removal

  • Issuing your official HETAS certificate

This certificate confirms your stove has been installed safely and in full compliance with building regulations.
